Do You Think At Home With Julia Crossed the Line?
There has been a lot of media buzz surrounding the latest episode of ABC1’s satire At Home With Julia. Earlier this week a photo was released showing Amanda Bishop as Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Phil Lloyd as Tim Mathieson sharing a post-coital cuddle using the Australian flag as a sheet. When the episode aired last night (to an audience of 773,000 viewers), the scene was just a small part of a bigger scenario that was about a miscommunication between Julia and Tim, in which Julia thought Tim wanted a job in government, and Tim thought Julia wanted to get married (it all unravelled at Tim’s birthday party, where guests included Kevin Rudd, Tony Abbott and Julie Bishop).
