Charlotte Dawson's tragic and untimely death in Feb. 2014 put production on hold for the show she worked on and loved so much, Australia's Next Top Model. The producers and her fellow judges, Jennifer Hawkins, Alex Perry and Didier Cohen, needed time to grieve their friend, but vowed the show would go on because she loved it so much. Auditions kicked off for ANTM's ninth cycle over the weekend, with Jennifer, Didier and Alex sizing up girls at Chatswood Chase shopping centre in Sydney on Saturday.
It's been confirmed that Charlotte won't be replaced with a permanent judge but that the show will have a rotating cast of guest judges to aid the regular ones; on the weekend Danielle Ragenard and Simone Hellicar from IMG Models helped with the judging. Alex also made sure Charlotte's presence was felt by selecting a girl "because I knew Charlotte would have loved her." With auditions only taking place now it's assumed the show will return on Fox8 sometime in 2015. Keep reading for shots from Saturday's auditions.
