The Marie Claire cover debacle with Jennifer Hawkins just won’t die. Hawko has finally spoken out about the controversy, saying that she regrets posing nude for the mag and being presented as the poster girl for women with poor body image issues. To make matters worse, she’s cheesed-off the top dog at Myer, Bernie Brookes, who wasn’t even aware she was doing a nude cover shoot. Call me crazy, but I would think since Myer is paying her $5 million to represent them, that someone from her management team MIGHT have run the idea past the Myer peeps before proceeding. Jen claims she did the shoot to raise money for the Butterfly Foundation, which helps people with eating disorders, but that message has been lost in the negative backlash. She also says she was unaware that her un-airbrushed image would be used to present a woman with "flaws". Bianca Dye and Tiffani Wood recently got their gear off for Madison and join a growing list of celebrities who have stripped down to promote healthy body images. But what do you think — do naked celebrities make you feel better about your body?
