I hope your black leather jacket is on hand, because the first look at season two of Jessica Jones is here. Netflix just shared an action-packed trailer for the new episodes that hit the streaming network on March 8, and I suggest sitting down before watching it, because it's jam-packed with clues about the gritty superhero drama's upcoming season.
The trailer sees Jessica (Krysten Ritter) haunted by the tragic death of her family, who all died in a car accident when she was much younger (post-accident she was put through the series of brutal experiments that resulted in her superhuman strength). As she begins to uncover disturbing details about the origins of her power, a new, even-more deadly foe emerges, threatening the lives of not only Jessica, but everyone she holds dear.
In addition to Ritter, season two will see the return of Rachael Taylor's Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss's Jeri Hogarth, and Eka Darville's Malcolm Ducasse. There are also a few glimpses of some mysterious new characters (including a love interest for Jessica, judging from that steamy sex scene), so check out the trailer above to see for yourself.
