Update: Singer and TV actor Johnny Ruffo has revealed that he has been diagnosed with brain cancer, one week after undergoing emergency surgery to remove a tumour. Hitting Instagram to break the news, Johnny said that he'd just received the news and would be starting "aggressive" treatment soon. "So I have the news." he wrote. "It was a bit of a shock and I've got an interesting journey ahead and a bit of a battle. I am starting aggressive treatment for the next few months to fight the diagnosis of brain cancer. Previously: Singer and TV star Johnny Ruffo has revealed that he's just undergone emergency surgery to remove a brain tumour. Posting two images to Instagram, one of an enormous scar across his head and the other of him showing a thumbs up in his hospital bed, Johnny wrote, "Some things in life really put things into perspective, hoping for a positive result, keep me in your thoughts."
According to News.com.au, Johnny revealed more details in a statement, confirming he had a mass removed. "On Sunday I went into hospital with a migraine," he explained. "I had to have a brain tumour removed. I am on the mend and feeling positive. Keep me in your thoughts."
