Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, tended to her latest official royal engagement this morning. She rose early to visit with children at the Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford, a trip done in conjunction with the organisation The Art Room. The group is one of the many of which Kate has decided to become an official patron, and The Art Room aims to increase the confidence of young people through creative activities.
Today, Kate wore a dress from the Irish designer Orla Kiely, who works in London. Kate said hello to many of the schoolkids, accepted flowers, and doled out hugs. She headed inside a classroom to watch as the youngsters got to work on painting projects. Also, the name of Kate and William's dog was finally revealed — the canine is called Lupo! Kate's taking care of her own obligations while her husband Prince William is serving with the Royal Air Force. He's in the middle of a six-week stint manning a search and rescue helicopter crew in the Falkland Islands.
