Kate Middleton, in a gorgeous blue Reiss dress, made her first public speech at the East Anglia Children’s Hospice at the Treehouse centre in Ipswich yesterday. The Duchess of Cambridge wrote the speech herself and praised the hospice’s work, saying, “The feelings you inspire — feelings of love and of hope — offer a chance to families to live a life they never thought could be possible.” Kate has had a busy schedule filled with multiple public appearances with other members of the royal family while Prince William is serving in the Falkland Islands. They’ll be reunited soon — for now, check out Kate’s speech!
