Nothing says you’re ready to be a full-time princess like quitting your day job! (Actually, I guess saying yes when a prince proposes to you is more of a giveaway.) It’s been confirmed that Kate Middleton has left her job at her family’s online party supplies company. She was the project manager at Party Pieces and a spokesman says she left to “concentrate full-time on preparing to become a full-time member of the royal family.” Her other duties for her parents’ company included designing the website and acting as photographer. And it seems that her previous roles will only help her when it comes to planning her wedding. A friend of Kate’s told Hello magazine:
Catherine is a naturally creative individual and has spent her professional life in the creative industries having worked at Jigsaw, then as a website designer, photographer, marketer and events organiser. Skills she has built up in her working life translate naturally to organising a wedding.
We can’t wait to see what Prince William and Kate do for their April 29 nuptials! And if what photographer Mario Testino said is any indication, Kate is ready for royalty and will be an amazing princess.
