Katy Perry and Ruby Rose Crash High School Formal

Katy Perry and MTV presenter Ruby Rose were having a girl’s night out Saturday when they decided to gatecrash Melbourne High School’s year 12 formal at the Grand Hyatt. At first Katy was told her presence at the party with 550 students would be too dangerous, but girlfriend took her case directly to the class president. A member of her entourage approached student council president Anthony Lay and he had a word with Katy in the hall. She convinced him that they should walk in together and that’s when the party really got started. Katy grabbed a mic and the DJ started playing "California Gurls". Afterwards Katy posted a message on her Twitter account at 11:45 pm saying, “''I totes just crashed a prom!'' Check out video footage here!
