Katy Perry is not happy. The musician, who has been in Australia for most of the month to perform 23 shows for the Australian leg of her Prismatic world tour, has a bone to pick with Aussie paparazzi. On Saturday, Katy took to Twitter to share a note about how she was being followed by photographers on her day off. She wrote:
Australian PRESS: you should be ashamed of your paparazzi & tabloid culture. Your paparazzi have no respect, no integrity, no character. NO HUMANITY. I was stalked by many grown men today as I tried to take a quiet walk to the beach. These men would not stop as I pleaded over & over to let me have my space. Many other people stopped to try to help but the paps continued to laugh at me & hold their barrels up & shoot. They told me to make a "deal" with them. Give them a bathing suit shot and they would leave me be. This is PERVERTED & disgusting behavior that should NEVER be tolerated, especially by people who do NOT want this. I will NEVER make a deal with paparazzi and I will not befriend anyone who perpetuates this kind of behavior.
She then proceeded to post photos of some of the paparazzi who were trailing her.
Aside from that, it appears as though Katy has had a fun time touring the country; the tour kicked off in Perth and has gone to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney so far. Katy has previously said that she wants to dominate the Australian music market with the same success Pink has had, hence the large amount of shows. Katy will also make an appearance at Wednesday's ARIA Awards.
In between shows, Katy has shared her own fun snaps of her time in Australia, which includes finally climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge and getting some sun on a boat with her friends and crew. Keep reading for a look at Katy's Aussie diary.
