Katy Perry's "Rise" Music Video

Katy Perry Fights With a Parachute, Sort of Wins, in the Official Video For "Rise"

Katy Perry is back and better than ever with her new song "Rise." After turning heads with her DNC performance, the singer teased the first look at her brand-new music video, which came out Aug. 4. "This is a song that's been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface," Perry explained in a video on Twitter. "I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite. I know that together we can rise above the fear — in our country, and around the world." Not only does the tune make for the perfect Summer anthem this season, but it will also serve as the actual anthem for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Honestly, if this is any indication of what's to come for her next album, we can't wait to hear more. Check out the official video now!
