Home-grown international superstar Keith Urban made a pilgrimage back to the motherland when he came to Australia to host the 32nd ARIA awards last night. He kicked off the show by saying "hi baby" to his wife Nicole Kidman in the front row, a move that no doubt made viewers around the country say 'aw.' He also took the chance to playfully poke fun at Nicole throughout the night, referring to her as a "very talented, up-and-coming new actress" when talking about her new movie Boy Erased that also stars ARIA nominee Troye Sivan. He capped off the night with a mash-up performance of two of his best tracks from the last couple of years, 'Parallel Line' and 'The Fighter'. Although the original recording of 'The Fighter' is a duet with Carrie Underwood, instead Amy Shark joined him for a sing, and she was a more than worthy substitute considering she was the recipient of four awards on the night.
