Pop Poll: Should Kerri-Anne Apologise for “Strays” Comment?

Kerri-Anne Kennerley is refusing to apologise for a comment she made calling women who fraternize with footy players “strays.” The remark drew outrage from women’s groups and were said in relation to an investigation into an alleged sexual assault by two Collingwood AFL players after the grand final on Saturday. Kerri-Anne was interviewing Peter “Spida” Everitt on her show when she said players “put themselves in harm’s way by picking up strays.” Meanwhile, Peter questioned the alleged victim’s motivation for going to the police, saying girls who go home with man at 3am should “not expect a cup of Milo.” What do you think about Kerri-Anne’s comments—was she out of line?
