Lifetime to Make TV Movie About Prince William and Kate Middleton; Nico Evers-Swindell Cast as William

William & Kate: Coming Soon to a TV Screen Near You

It was only a matter of time before someone decided to make a movie about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s love story, and it’s happening sooner rather than later! American TV network Lifetime will air a made-for-TV movie called William & Kate, which will be based on the soon-to-be-wed couple’s eight-year romance. It will take us “through the ups and downs of their nine-year courtship complicated by social and royal family pressures, and intense global media attention surrounding their storybook nuptials,” as well as the big engagement. The movie is due to go on air a week before the royal wedding and the roles of William and Prince Charles have been cast — New Zealand native Nico Evers-Swindell as Wills (he’s had small roles on NCIS: Los Angeles and Law & Order) and Star Trek’s Ben Cross as his father. As for the role of Kate, it’s yet to be cast, and we can just imagine every brunette actress practising their best British accents. Do you have any suggestions for who could play Kate? And do you think Nico makes a good Prince William?
