Mel Gibson is cut from The Hangover sequel after cast and crew stage a "near-mutiny"...discuss

Pop Poll: Mel Gibson Sacked from Hangover Sequel...Discuss

Mel Gibson’s cameo as a Thai tattoo artist has been cut from The Hangover 2 after the cast complained about him being in the film. Despite Jodie Foster recently saying that Mel was one of the "most loved" men in Hollywood, that’s apparently not quite the case. Zach Galifianakis was particularly not a big fan and according to sources, the cast and crew staged a “near-mutiny.” Director Todd Phillips said in a statement:

I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of [Warner Bros. president] Jeff Robinov and his team. But I realise filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew.

Ouch. What do you think? Should Mel have been cut from the sequel? Sound off below!
