It's another battle between a celeb and an Aussie company over naming rights. This time around instead of Katy Perry the singer and Katie Perry the Sydney fashion designer, it’s Mischa Barton and Queensland-based Mischa Accessories. Mischa is trying to trademark her name, signature and logo in Australia, but the Gold Coast-based handbag company has opposed her attempts to register her trademark with IP Australia. Both Mischa Accessories manager Mervill Allen and Mischa Barton's Melbourne-based trademark lawyers have refused to comment on the case. Meanwhile, it looks like Mischa B may have some extra time on her hands. After her latest TV show The Beautiful Life was cancelled she now says she’s giving up TV and holding out for really good film roles.
