Aussie Actors Unite For the NIDA Foundation Trust Gala
Some of Australia’s brightest acting talents returned to NIDA in Kensington, Sydney, for the annual NIDA Foundation Trust Gala on Saturday night. Miranda Otto, Sarah Snook, Emma Lung, Maeve Dermody and Alyssa McClelland were among the NIDA graduates who added a touch of glamour to the evening, which raised money for the NIDA Student Bursary program and creative projects. On the red carpet Sarah posed with her Not Suitable For Children co-star Ryan Corr, who she already knew from the acting school; she told us last year while promoting their Aussie rom-com, “We actually went to drama school together. He was the year below me, so we were already friends.”
Throughout the evening, the 300 guests dined on a menu designed by Matt Moran and participated in activities like a Bulgari raffle and Net-a-Porter-sponsored digital auction to help raise more than $100,000 for the foundation.
