Must-See Trailer of the Day: Ryan Reynolds Gets Buried

Back in January, we got a little peek at Buried with this teaser featuring Ryan Reynolds pleading for his life from inside a coffin. Now that the film has been picked up for wide release, it gets the official trailer treatment—but (twist!) there's no actual footage from the movie in it. That said, it still left me covered with goosebumps. The preview twists and turns through photos of Reynolds as Paul Conroy, a contractor who's been kidnapped in Iraq and wakes up in a coffin. We hear desperate phone calls made from his underground box as Paul tries to get in touch with someone who can free him. His pleas with his captor are heartbreaking and downright upsetting to listen to, but the preview does a great job of capturing the intensity of the film.
