What an emotional week this must be for Oprah Winfrey! We can assume that the past few hours saw plenty of waterworks from the talk show queen, her crew and the audience, as she taped her last episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show ever. There were rumours that she was opting to go live for the big finale, but Sheri Salata, executive producer of Harpo Studios, recently tweeted, “Finished taping...studios lights are dark. Hope you watch tomorrow. It is 100 percent for you from @oprah with love.” While there’s a lot of secrecy around what we can expect from Oprah and her team, we already know lots of details about the third- and second-to-last episodes, which were taped last week and were a spectacular farewell surprise for Oprah. Channel Ten airs the first of the shows tonight, where we can expect to see stars like Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Dakota Fanning and more. Will you be tuning in to experience this piece of TV history?
The Oprah Winfrey Show — The Finale airs at 9 p.m. on Channel Ten.
