Over 300 members of Oprah Winfrey’s audience arrived yesterday and Oprah herself is expected today! The audience flew on two Qantas 747s, with the first flight arriving at Sydney International airport at 8:49am. The group was then whisked away to the Intercontinental Hotel where they were met be members of the Aboriginal community who performed a traditional dance. Despite rumours, honourary Qantas pilot John Travolta did not fly the audience to Australia and Oprah will be arriving on her private jet. She'll make her first official appearance in Melbourne on Friday. Meanwhile, the tour group will be split up and sent off throughout the country before reconvening on Dec 14th for two shows at the Sydney "Oprah" House.
