Pamela Anderson Gives Vivienne Westwood a Patch of Amazon Rainforest From Cool Earth as a Gift

Pamela Anderson Gives a Patch of Rainforest as a Gift

Her name may be synonymous with a certain red one-piece thanks to her Baywatch days, but Pamela Anderson is also quite the wildlife warrior and has never shied away from raising awareness about her favourite charitable causes (you’ve probably seen some of her attention-grabbing ads for PETA). So when her good friend, designer Vivienne Westwood, turned 70 last week, what did Pamela give her to mark the occasion? A 70-acre plot of Amazon rainforest! Both women are big supporters of the rainforest charity Cool Earth, and Pamela said, “I’m really excited to support Cool Earth and give Vivienne such an incredible rainforest gift. She is one of my favourite people.” What it means is that the area of land has been sponsored in Vivienne’s name and allows Cool Earth to make sure the land is well taken care of. It’s definitely an interesting and unique gift idea — my friend once received animals donated in her name as a present. Would you gift something green like this?
