John Travolta Backs the Socceroos, as Shakira and Alicia Help Kick Off World Cup Mania!

Fútbol fever has officially kicked off! The World Cup got underway in South Africa today and it's already quite an amazing affair. Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas helped get things started, while Alicia Keys kept her baby bump covered up with a chain-link top. John Legend also took the stage and Shakira got the crowd going, belting out the tournament's theme song, "Waka Waka." Cristiano Ronaldo paid a visit to Nelson Mandela and John Travolta was one of the first A-list celebrities to head to Johannesburg. John, who was joined by his daughter, Ella, and pregnant wife Kelly Preston, is the Qantas global ambassador and was quick to declare his support to our very own Socceroos!
