Alexa Chung brought her effortlessly cool style (and added splashes of red via scarlet lips and a Chanel bag) to the official launch of ACP Magazines’ 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty in Sydney last night. The British style icon, who is the international ambassador for the month-long event, took control of the music as DJ in a cool set up that featured the booth inside a giant frame; her first song was “Better the Devil You Know.” At a press conference on Wednesday, Alexa joked that she’s a selfish DJ and doesn’t take song requests. Last night’s party also brought out glam models Alyssa Sutherland, Heidi Harrington-Johnson and Sarah Stephens, as well as stylish TV personalities Erin McNaught and Kylie Speer, and fashion designers Gail Elliott and Terry Biviano. It seems like Alexa kicked on at Shady Pines, as she wrote on Twitter, “Shady aspect/Pines/whatever, it was fun. Thanks to ACP for bringing me to Sydney, I've had the loveliest of times. Until we meet again...”
