Michael Douglas was joined by his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and 93-year-old father Kirk Douglas as The Film Society of Lincoln Center awarded him with the 37th Annual Chaplin award in NYC last night. Tobey Maguire, Ashley Olsen and Justin Bartha also came out to honour Michael who graciously thanked his friends and family, even mentioning his son Cameron who is currently serving five years in jail after a conviction on drug charges. He had this to say, "God bless my son, I think he's in a safe place. He'll be there for a while. And [he'll] start a new life." Michael just returned from a trip to France after debuting Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps with costars Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan at Cannes.
