Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Took Over Melbourne and We Can Barely Keep Up
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now on to their third city in as many days and sure seem to have made the most of their time in Melbourne. It's been a jam-packed day for the royal couple, starting with a walk to Government House that was lined with thousands of adoring fans keen to catch a glimpse at the guests of honour. Next, they attended a reception held in the honour of young Victorian leaders, including ambassadors for the This Girl Can campaign, who taught Meghan a thing or two about Aussie Rules footy.
They then made their way to Charcoal Lane, a social enterprise cafe offering training programs for young Aboriginal people, before they visited a local primary school to discuss sustainability. Lastly, and perhaps controversially, they caught a tram to South Melbourne (without touching on their Myki cards), to meet with volunteers from a beach patrol program and learn about their work. Phew, we're exhausted just thinking about it, but it's all in a day's work for the royals.
