Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon landed in Sydney yesterday to prepare for the huge premiere that takes place at the State Theatre tonight. But first they attended a press conference at Luna Park this morning, where they posed with director Francis Lawrence and an elephant with the iconic Harbour Bridge in the backdrop. Robert talked about his relationship with fans, saying that while he doesn’t like “people being sneaky” he appreciates people who come up to him and say nice things because “that’s why we’re doing it in the first place.” Reese called working with the animals, particularly Tai the elephant, as “an incredible experience,” and explained how she went to “circus school” to prepare for all the acrobatics she performs in the movie. The stars have a huge night ahead of them for what will be their last premiere for the movie. It’s expected to be one of the biggest premiere events our country has seen, so if you’re in Sydney head to Pitt St Mall to experience the excitement in person!
