Pregnant Alyssa Milano Sets Up New Website With UNICEF to Aid Mothers and Children in Developing Countries

Alyssa Milano Uses Her Pregnancy to Help Other Children

First time mother-to-be Alyssa Milano is clearly excited about the arrival of her little boy, and she’s been so touched by fans’ support and enthusiasm for her pregnancy that she was inspired to set up a new website to assist less fortunate mothers and children around the world. She teamed up with UNICEF and launched babybugliari.org, where she says, “David and I are overwhelmed with the outpouring of support and we wanted to find a way to give back in celebration of the upcoming birth of our baby boy. In lieu of gifts, we would be touched if you made a donation to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF to provide assistance to children and mothers in developing countries so they can grow to be healthy, happy and strong, which is exactly what we want for our child.” Alyssa has had a long history with the organisation and was appointed U.S. Fund for UNICEF Ambassador back in 2003. She has also travelled with them to Africa and India. She and husband Dave Bugliari will welcome their son in early Spring.
