Prince William and Kate Middleton Land Vanity Fair July Issue Cover With New Engagement Photo by Mario Testino

Prince William and Kate Score Vanity Fair's July Cover

Prince William and Kate Middleton graced the covers of countless magazines in the lead up to, and after, their huge April 29 royal wedding. Even though they’ve been man and wife for a month now, and have even returned to royal duties following a 10-day honeymoon in the Seychelles, the buzz surrounding them is only going to get bigger, especially in the US. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be fronting Vanity Fair’s July issue with a never-before-seen photo taken by Mario Testino during their engagement portrait session back in December. The issue will coincide with their visit to California after their Canada tour; they’ll be on the West Coast from July 8 to 10. The timing of their cover will also have some sentimental value: William’s mother Princess Diana was the subject of Vanity Fair’s July 1997 cover, also shot by Mario.
