Rihanna Will Arrive in Sydney on Valentine's Day!
Taylor Swift finishes up her tour tonight in Adelaide just as another pop princess gets ready to grace our shores. Rihanna arrives in Sydney on Sunday to promote her new album. Ri Ri Watch! She'll be in town for just three days and won't be performing. Instead, she will host a "meet and greet" party at Ivy for VIPs, local recording acts and various other peeps. Her new video, "Rude Boy" will also be screened at the event. 
In it, Rihanna takes a colorful, graffiti-filled departure from the hard-edged look she's been sporting for tracks like "Wait Your Turn"—complete with ridiculous getups and faux safari animals. My verdict: it's fun! The pop art calls to mind M.I.A.'s video for "Boyz" and those '80s "I Want My MTV" ads and the island vibe feels perfectly suited to Rihanna's Barbados roots. Plus, you've got some sexy hip-shaking going on that brings back slight memories of her "Pon de Replay" days. I can't wait to see what Rihanna has in store for her next video.
