Rose Byrne nominated for her role in Damages at the 2010 Emmy Awards

Rose Byrne and Toni Collette Lead the Way for Aussie TV Stars


Aussie actresses Rose Byrne and Toni Collette were flying the Aussie flag today at the 2010 Emmy Awards. Rose is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Ellen Parsons in Damages. It’s the second year in a row Rose has been nominated. Her film career has also been going from strength to strength– she starred in Get Him to the Greek with Russell Brand and she recently scored a role in X-Men: First Class as James McAvoy’s love interest. Meanwhile, Toni won for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series last year for her role in The United States of Tara.
