Rose Byrne Gears Up For X-Men: First Class

Aussie actress Rose Byrne is set to join the ensemble cast of X-Men: First Class. She’s prepping to play James McAvoy’s love in the film, a scientist and genetic mutation expert named Moira MacTaggert. The film features several young actors including Alice Eve, Jennifer Lawrence, Caleb Landry Jones and Nicolas Hoult. Matthew Vaughn will direct the movie and Kevin Bacon has signed on to play the mysterious villain. The film is due in theatres June 2011.
