The Royal Family Was Out In Force to Celebrate the Queen's Official Birthday — Yes, Even Meghan Was There!
On a sightly drizzly Saturday in London, the British royal family gathered at Buckingham Palace for the annual Trooping the Colour event, a celebration of the queen's official birthday which begins with a military parade.
Trooping the Colour also includes a fly-past by the Royal Air Force, which the royal family watches from the balcony of the palace. Last year was filled with plenty of sweet moments, particularly from the little cousins like Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Savannah and Isla Phillips.
As well as watching the fly-by, the family rode past the crowds, either on horseback, or in carriages. In the second carriage were the Duchess of Cornwall, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle, who surprised us all by taking a break from maternity leave to attend this important family event.
