SNL "Discover Card" Sketch Video March 2019

SNL's Parody of the Movie Us Is So Accurate, I Don't Know Whether to Laugh or Feel Terrified

Saturday Night Live made its return from a brief hiatus on March 30, and it wasted no time getting to the hilarious skits. It was almost a given that the cast would somehow parody Jordan Peele's latest thriller Us since the film has taken over movie theatres and inspired a number of debates, internet memes, and quite possibly a fear of rabbits. In SNL's sketch "Discover Card," a woman (Ego Nwodim) contacts customer service after noticing there's been weird charges on her credit card. When she reaches one of the supposed employees, she's completely unaware that she's talking to her presumably evil doppelgänger who looks and sounds exactly like the Tethered from Peele's movie. But perhaps the scariest thing about this clip is that this poor woman lost her money. Does she ever get it back? We need answers!
