Hollywood’s newest leading man, Aussie actor Sam Worthington, has slammed his old acting school NIDA. Sam has three big budget blockbusters under his belt including Terminator: Salvation, Clash of the Titans and the highly anticipated Avatar. In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, he slammed staff at NIDA who claimed he would never work in the film industry. He says, “I got wrapped in barbed wire, told ‘you will never work, your accent is s**t and you sound like Bryan Brown. Well f**k them. I’m the golden boy now aren’t I?” So far there has been no comment from NIDA. Yikes. Guess Sam had some old scores to settle. Sam will be in Sydney on November 15 to promote Avatar and attend the 2009 Inside Film Awards.
