Sam Worthington Speaks About New Avatar Footage
Avatar is being re-released in theatres next month with eight additional minutes of footage. The Los Angeles Times caught up with Sam Worthington and tried to get the scoop on the new scenes. Sam explained:
I don’t know what the eight minutes are. [Director James Cameron]’s got an extra eight hours of footage, so it could be anything, to be honest. I know there’s a lot more of the hunting and of Jake becoming a Na’vi and the training program. And there’s a lot more live-action stuff, the stuff that we shot that was set on Earth, so maybe it’s parts that have to do with that….or it could be the incredible sex scene that everyone keeps talking about. It’ll be a surprise for me as well, mate.
