Sara Groen is Leaving Her Gig as Channel Seven's Weather Girl to Move to Melbourne

Sara Groen is Leaving Seven to Follow Her Heart to Melbourne

Channel Seven’s weather girl Sara Groen is leaving her Sydney gig with the network to move to Melbourne, where her fiancé Clark Kirby is based. A network spokesperson confirmed that “Sara will be leaving Channel Seven news early next year so she can be with her soon-to-be husband.” This follows rumours that Sara and Clark had ended their relationship after viewers noticed Sara wasn’t wearing her engagement ring last month, but it turns out she was just getting it re-sized. Phew! Sydney Confidential reports that the couple—who got engaged in May—are “planning to wed in an intimate but elegant ceremony at the Stokehouse in bayside St. Kilda at the end of January.” While she hasn’t announced her future career plans, Sara’s presence will be missed on the small screen!
