Shark Tank Australia iCapsulate Biggest Deal Ever July 2017

The Invention That Netted the Biggest Deal in Shark Tank Australia History

Shark Tank is probably the realest reality show out there — yes, there's a bit of smoke and mirrors, but at the end of the day the people on the show are real small business owners trying to pitch for some very real money.

On Tuesday night's episode, thing hit peak real: one of the sharks, entrepreneur Andrew Banks, parted ways with $2.5 million (!) in exchange for a 22.5 percent stake in Kane Bodiam's coffee capsule company, called iCapsulate.

It's a whopper of an exchange. For Kane, he gets a chunky investment that will no doubt boost his already thriving business. For Andrew, he gets a stake in a successful company that has the capacity to rake in many more millions of dollars. It's a win-win situation for all, including us viewers who get to be part of it, sans the sweaty handshake that seals the deal. Watch above!

Shark Tank airs Tuesdays at 8.45pm on TEN.
