Shepard Smith Says Leonardo DiCaprio Painted "Mona Lisa"

Leonardo DiCaprio Is So Accomplished, He Even Painted the "Mona Lisa"?

In a hilarious, totally understandable flub, Shepard Smith credited Leonardo DiCaprio with creating one of the world's most famous paintings. He mentioned the Hollywood actor during a Fox News TV report, calling out "an update from scientists trying to identify the model for Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Mona Lisa.'" Of course, it was that other Leonardo — da Vinci — behind the iconic painting and viewers were quick to highlight the mistake on social media. Twitter user Erin Stevenson captured the gaffe in a video, very appropriately saying, "Hahahaha!"
