The Socceroos Are Going to Brazil! See the Celebratory Pictures
Australian soccer fans rejoiced last night when the Socceroos qualified for their third consecutive World Cup. The Aussie soccer team beat Iraq 1-0 at ANZ Stadium, with the winning goal scored in the game’s 82nd minute by substitute Josh Kennedy, who took to the field to replace Tim Cahill. After Kennedy’s goal, his teammates jumped on top of him in celebration, with more than 80,000 fans in the packed stadium cheering along.
