Taylor Swift in trouble from Environmental agency after feeding wild possums in Melbourne Australia
Swifty Stalk: Taylor in Trouble for Feeding Wild Possums
When I think of pop stars and shenanigans with possums, an image of Britney Spears immediately springs to mind. But this time around it’s Grammy Princess Taylor Swift who is in trouble after feeding wild possums in Melbourne. After her sell-out show on Wednesday night, instead of partying like a rock star, Tay Tay and her peeps headed for an inner city park. She wrote on her Twitter page, “Tonight the band and I played a show, then hopped in the van and headed to the park for some midnight wild possum feeding.” Yee-haw! Swifty was obviously not aware that she might do more harm than good by feeding the critters and has been scolded by the Department of Sustainability and Environment. The agency released a statement saying that feeding wild animals can disrupt their natural behaviour and make them lose their natural fear of people, which makes them vulnerable to attack. In addition to PossumGate, Swifty has also been seen enjoying the sun on St Kilda beach and shopping on High Street in Prahan with her peeps.
