Welcome to the Rileys Trailer: Kristen Stewart Is a Lost Soul

Bella Swan aside, Kristen Stewart has made a name for herself playing angsty teenagers in indie movies. She's got that twitchy teen girl bit down cold and she's showing it off yet again in Welcome to the Rileys. It's not all about Stewart, though—the film really belongs to James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo as the titular couple who are grieving the loss of their daughter. When Mr. Riley seeks solace from his depressing home life in New Orleans, he finds an unlikely bond with Stewart, a young stripper. He takes her in and tries to straighten her out, seemingly as a way to fill the void left by his daughter's death. The film got decent buzz at the Sundance Film Festival and the heavy subject matter has potential to bring out big performances from the actors. And like I said: this is Stewart's forte.
