Matthew Newton and Transformers star Rachael Taylor are engaged after a whirlwind one-year romance. A source has confirmed the news saying, “[Newton proposed] quite a while ago now, almost two months maybe, but they are really happy. She said 'Yes' straight away.” The pair had each other’s names tattooed on their wrists during a trip to LA in October and made headlines last year when a hotel room Newton was staying in was severely damaged and booked under Taylor’s credit card.
