Video of Comedian Jordan Paris Performing Original Stand Up Material on Australia's Got Talent

Jordan Paris Uses His Own Jokes on Australia's Got Talent

Gold Coast comedian Jordan Paris returned to the Australia’s Got Talent stage for the fifth semi final last night. He was introduced by host Grant Denyer as “performing to save his reputation, and his career” after it was discovered that he had ripped off other comedians’ jokes during his first audition, which drew lots of laughs from the audience and praise from the judges. Things were a little different when he used his own material last night — he tried to take the self-deprecating route and poked fun at the stolen jokes situation (as well as his teeth), kicking things off with, “I just sacked my two writers: copy and paste.” But then things started going downhill as his jokes made the judges cringe, with Brian McFadden and Dannii Minogue even hitting their buzzers and saying the performance was very “uncomfortable.” When the time came for the judges to give their feedback, they all agreed that Jordan had nailed the delivery in his first audition but that his writing skills weren’t up to scratch. See it unfold below.
