Video of Farm Boy Chooka Parker Improvising a Piano Song on Australia's Got Talent Semi Final

Can Piano Prodigy Chooka Parker Win Australia's Got Talent?

After last week’s first Australia’s Got Talent semi final, two acts were supposed to be put through to the final. But there was so much talent that not two, but three acts secured a place in the grand final. Singing sensation Jack Vidgen won the audience vote, as did fellow singer Bree De Rome, while dancing duo Team Rocket were the judges’ pick. Last night we were also reacquainted with more successful acts from the audition round, and the last to hit the stage was farm boy Chooka Parker. The 16-year-old self-taught pianist from Red Lion, Victoria, who improvises his songs on stage, opened with an impressive forward flip before taking his seat at the keyboard. Just like in his audition piece, he created a musical masterpiece that left Dannii Minogue “speechless” and had Brian McFadden saying, “You’re a prodigy . . . You’re a freak!” Do you think Chooka has what it takes to win the show?
