Video of Luke O'Dell The X Factor Audition Singing Original Song "Introvert Extrovert"

Is Luke O'Dell's "Introvert Extrovert" Now Stuck in Your Head?

Auditions week on the new series of The X Factor continued last night with more deluded hopefuls and potential stars. While Monday and Tuesday night’s shows ended with emotional performances, on last night’s episode the final audition came from the highly-entertaining Luke O’Dell, a singer-songwriter from Perth. Rocking a Goth-esque look with his pink-tipped hair and black nails, he failed to impress judges Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and Mel B with his rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.” And then he asked if he could sing something else: an original song called “Introvert Extrovert.” While Ronan had been reluctant to give him another chance, he agreed to hearing Luke’s original material — a tune that’s now difficult to get out our heads the morning after! Natalie said it when she commented, “The scary thing is we’re all gonna be going home singing, ‘Introvert, extrovert, doesn’t matter.’”
