Losing love seems to be a recurring theme in Taylor Swift’s real life, and we know she puts everything about her relationships into her songs. (We’re expecting a song about Jake Gyllenhaal on her next album after he reportedly dumped her over the phone.) And she has just released the music video for “Back to December”, the second single from her album Speak Now. In the lyrics she apologises to a former flame (rumoured to be Taylor Lautner) and sings, “This is me swallowing my pride, standing in front of you, saying I’m sorry for that night. I go back to December all the time.” In the video she sulks around a house and stares wistfully out a window as a handsome young man walks through snow-filled streets. It’s girly and pretty relatable but also kind of unimaginative. What do you think of Taylor’s “Back to December” clip?
