Just when we thought they couldn't get any cuter, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle proved us wrong. While the two have never shied away from showing PDA, we still get a little thrill at seeing them be openly affectionate, and this latest instance may take us for good.
On Aug. 29, the royal couple had a date night at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London to attend a special fundraising performance of the musical Hamilton in honour of Harry's charity, Sentebale. We were already stunned speechless by Meghan's stem-flaunting tuxedo minidress, and then Harry took it up a notch by singing the opening line of "You'll Be Back."
At this point you must be wondering, "What more treasures could this date night bring us?!" Well, the moment in question occurred when Meghan accidentally let her adorable pet name for Harry slip. The couple were posing for a photo on stage with the Hamilton cast and crew when Meghan turned to make sure she wasn't blocking Harry's view.
"Can you see, my love?" she asked, looking out for her man and causing our hearts to swell with joy at the simple question. Cue several of the actors on stage saying "Aw" at the sweet moment and the duchess realizing that multiple people overheard the exchange. Though Meghan was visibly flustered — she placed her hand on her chest and said, "Oh!" at their reaction — she quickly composed herself and smiled for the camera. Check out the video of the delightful exchange ahead and relive what might be the cutest royal date night ever (until the next one, of course).
