“Love Island”‘s Amy Hart has Welcomed a Baby Boy

Another mini Islander has been born! Former “Love Island” favourite, Amy Hart, has given birth to a baby boy with her boyfriend Sam Rason. The couple announced the happy news on 7 March with a carousel of adorable photos of their newborn, although the reality TV star revealed she actually gave birth on Friday, 3 March and spent 5 days in hospital. The family of three are now home and all doing well.

“Well…. 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren’t 🤣), 4 very short hours in the delivery suite and 5 long days in hospital later, we are home with our dreamy baby boy 💙 born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so so in love 😍💙,” she wrote on Instagram.

No name has been announced just yet, but Hart has assured her followers that “proper introductions” will be coming, as well as more photos of her baby’s “beautiful, non post birth swollen face”. Before she fell pregnant, Hart had opened up about freezing her eggs and becoming a mum on her own via IVF, but after meeting her tech entrepreneur boyfriend and going public with their relationship in 2021, she conceived naturally. And now they are embarking on a new chapter as parents.

Hart appeared on series 5 of the ITV2 reality show in 2019. After spending most of her time coupled up with Curtis Pritchard, she left the show after being left heartbroken after he dumped her following Casa Amor. Hart joins fellow “Love Island” star Molly-Mae Hague who also gave birth last month to her first baby, called Bambi, and “Love Island” winner Dani Dyer who is pregnant with identical twins. We can’t wait to see more of Hart’s gorgeous family and who the next mini Islanders might be.
