Packed to the Rafters star Rebecca Gibney has shared a video of her famous friends keeping themselves entertained in isolation by lip-syncing along to John Paul Young's "Love Is in the Air".
If you never thought you'd see Lisa Wilkinson singing into a vacuum cleaner, or Rodger Corser brandishing a cocktail shaker on some stairs, or Jane Kennedy singing into a showerhead and using Glen-20 as maracas, or Richard Wilkins in an '80s hair-metal wig, now you have seen all of those things — and much more.
"Love from all of us to you," the video concluded. On Instagram, Rebecca revealed that she cut the video together herself. She captioned the post, "Sharing the ❤️.
"The world is a tough place right now," she continued "I even hesitate to post this because some may see it as frivolous in such a time of uncertainty but I think we could all use a break from the sadness and when I asked a few mates if they wanted to spread a bit of joy these brave kind souls didn't hesitate to say yes. We also want to send out a massive THANK YOU to our incredible medical professionals and all the wonderful essential folk who are out there protecting and providing.
"I hope you enjoy this little bit of love from us. Stay safe, stay well and Be Kind."
