Everything You Need to Know About Australian Survivor 2020

Everything We Know About Australian Survivor 2020 So Far

With the very first All Stars season of Australian Survivor just around the corner, we've gathered up all the details we could possibly find for you to dive into ahead of the show's fifth season.

When and Where Can I Watch It?

Australian Survivor: All Stars premieres on Channel 10 on February 3 at 7:30 p.m., and will air on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

How to Catch Up

If you want to quickly binge the first four seasons of Australian Survivor you can do so on 10 Play for free, where they have all four seasons and plenty of bonus content ready to for streaming. If you have 10 All Access, they also have the latest season, so you can watch that one without ads.

If You Want More Australian Survivor

If, like us, you're already missing the King of the Jungle, the People's Champion, Luke Toki himself, well, we have good news for you! Luke's going to be hosting a digital only show, Talking Tribal, which he'll host alongside James Mathison, who you already know from way back in the Australian Idol days.

James isn't just there on co-host duties, though. As it turns out, he's such a superfan that he originally wanted host Jonathan LaPaglia's job, and even made a home movie pitching himself as the host.

"And then I saw JLP [host Jonathan LaPaglia] get announced and I thought, 'Man, I could have done this!'" he told 10 daily."My obsession runs deep and long and, [I'd make] any excuse to be involved," James said of his involvement with Talking Tribal, adding that if they ever offered him a chance to be on the show, he'd snatch it up in a heartbeat.

Talking Tribal will premiere Friday, 31 January at 4pm on 10 Play and 10 Speaks.

The Location

Like the past few seasons, the current season was filmed in Fiji while season four was still airing, which may explain why we didn't get a reunion episode last year, given that some of the returning All Stars were already back in Fiji!

Who's Coming Back For All Stars?

Although not all of the contestants have been announced just yet, Channel 10 have announced the first 14 All Stars.

The Rumours ...

While the contestants above have all been officially announced, there's always more going on if you lurk around the internet enough.

Let's begin with queen Shonee Fairfax. She came third back in Season Three, and she's been all-but-confirmed as returning for All Stars, so much so that fans have been bombarding the channel's Australian Survivor social pages demanding that they #giveusShonee. And it seems JLP is siding with the fans on this one,'coz he's gone rogue and basically just announced her himself. We love to see it!

Also rumoured to be returning are the following players:

From Season One: Lee Carseldine

From Season Two: Michelle Dougan, Jacqui Patterson

From Season Three: Sharn Coombes, Zach Kozyrski, Moana Hope

From Season Four: Abbey Holmes, Daisy Richardson, John Eastoe
